Periannan Senapathy

Periannan Senapathy is a molecular biologist and genome researcher most well known for presenting an alternative to both creationism and evolution. In his book titled Independent Birth of Organisms (1994), he claims, due to his research in molecular biology, that all organisms on earth arose from chemical pools millions of years ago. Senapathy is an atheist who rejects evolution. Senapathy's theories have been heavily criticised by evolutionary biologists who have said that even though he has argued for natural origins he has used arguments similar to creationists.[1][2]
