Merki (Kazakh: Меркі ауданы, Merkı audany) is a district of Jambyl Region in south-eastern Kazakhstan. The administrative center of the district is the selo of Merki.[1]
June 29, 2013 — July 2016 — was appointed аkim of the district Kopbosynov Bakhtiyar Beisembaevich.[2]
June 30, 2016 — 2021 — was appointed a new akim Umirbekov Meirkhan Azatovich.[3]
March 2, 2021 — May 5, 2022 — was appointed a new akim Nursipatov Ruslan Maratovich.[4]
May 16, 2022 — was appointed a new akim Baubekov Zhorabek Nurmergenovich.[5]
