The Șimleu Mountains (Romanian: Munții Șimleu) is a mountain range in Transylvania, Romania, which belongs to the Apuseni Mountains.[1] The highest peak is Vârful Măgura Șimleului, with an altitude of 597 metres (1,959 ft).
